  1. So now I'm really irritated both my 1070 gets unstable above 4050 MHz memory clock. Was just going to live with it because I thought it might be a limitation of those brands/card, now it's time to punish them and force them to give me more. 😡 🤠

  2. Cliff- excellent video. I recommend all new/would be miners to heed the last section of this very informative video. The $3.00 per day he's making is only going down daily unless the price rises enough to offset that loss, like it had been doing the past few months. The "gold rush" mentality of the past few months is over and only miners who look long term will be around. It take a very long time to pay back a $400.00+ card at $3.00 per day.

  3. Thanks for the very informative videos. I have a quick question that I am looking for some input on.
Hey man I currently have some 970s and 1060s that pull about 21mh on eth and 300sol's on zcash. I also have a 980ti that pulls about 500 sol"s on ZEC and 20 mh on eth. What currency do you think I should mine with them?

  4. I've got everything set up, and I am minding both Ethereum and Siacoin, however, I don't know how to tell where my coins are going. I have a bittrex account and an ethereum wallet. I was never prompted to link them in anyway, so how do I know if I'm getting credited for my mined coins?

  5. I'm mining etc+sia and I still get "Hash not Found in Database" (sia). I already have more than 1 share accepted and ETC works fine.Any help?

  6. Hi Cliff.

Thanks for all the information, i have make an investment and buy 6 msi armor 1070 OC and 2 msi gaming 1070, plan to make 2 rigs. mobo/ msi z270 sli and msi z270 sli pro. Just waiting to get the packgages. in my country (Venezuela) the electicity is very cheap.

Is better start to minining ETH before the change to POS? or get focus in more profitable coins?

    Thanks againg for your help
    Best Regards

  7. Hi Cliff, I have 6X GTX 1070 8gb SC version with the following setting: CV 0, PL 65, Temp Limit 80, Core clock 0, Memory 634 and Fan 72. After 1.2 days it crushed and back to stock version. I changed slight different setting and last 2.5days but it crushed it again. Can you please advice what the reasoning behind this crushed? Thanks.

  8. Adding "-dcri 150" to the end of your bat script would have dramatically increased your Siacoin hash rate, probably to up around 1100

  9. just to clarify. i just started mining siacoin using the claymore dual miner. i downloaded UI 1.2.2 and synced then generated a wallet address from "receive siacoin" added that with my eth address in nanopool, generated the files..added them to my start file and executed. how long does it take for siacoin to show up in your wallet?

i'm running 4 nvidia 1070's as a test and been running around 1 hour but shows 0 siacoin in the wallet. just wanted to make sure i have it setup properly

  10. Hey, I do dual mining with ETH + Sia and receive strange noise from video card – that I don't receive when I mine only ETH. DO you have same issue? is this ok?

  11. When I mine etherium only I get around 25 mh/s but when i start mining eth and sia i get around 17 mh/s and 500 mh/s for sia is there a way to adjust the speeds so that i have a higher etherium hashrate because etherium is most profitable at the moment. I have a rx 470 4gb.

  12. Hi
I'm getting only between 1,5 – 2,5 Mhash for eth mining with gtx 1070. This is too low.

    I have a test system:
    Asus P5B motherboard (
    Pentium CPU 2 cores
    4x1GB DDR2 800 Mhz
    Win 10 pro 64 bit
Asus ROG Strix GTX1070 GPU connected directly on pci x16 slot.
    Nvidia drivers
    Cuda Toolkit
    Claymore dual miner v9.7

On Eth I could get only 1,5 – 2,5 MHash which is too low.

So my question is what is wrong ? My motherboard is too old to get 25+ Mhash ? What's you suggestions ?

  13. I have now tested and doesnt seem worth it.

If I set the dcri (balance) to maintain eth at almost full speed, then my est earnings for sia is barely 5 usd a month. But my eth earnings drop by not much less then that.

If I go a bit agressive with the dcri I can get my sia to a whopping 10 usd or so for the month, but my eth plunges to half speed or less, which loses me a lot more than 10 usd.

So the finances are poor for this.

On top of this you then have extra heat on the card and power usage, I couldnt make it work out personally on a 1070.

  14. I have set up Eth+Sia mining. On Eth I get 30/31 mh/s per 1070s and 315 on for sia per card. I added the address I have from Sia Wallet (receive coin) is it the right address because it changes everytime I click on it, not a static address.

  15. clymore 9.8 setup dual mining example
    setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
    setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
